Solaris believed a guild should be a tight knit group of friends that helped and understood each other; thats why we formed. We were a new guild made up of established raiders who had played together for a long period of time. Together we had seen all content up to and including Yogg-Saron. We felt it was our time to start fresh and build something special and we invited many people to join us. We were PvE orientated, towards progression raiding in a relaxed and social atmosphere. Solaris was an instant success, downing Yogg Saron in our first week of 10man raiding while we recruited a mix of eager and experienced players to build our 25 man team. Once we got started we quickly progressed through Ulduar 25 and established ourselves in the top 10 guilds on alonsus by downing Yogg Saron, pre-nerf and before alot of established guilds who had been stuck on him for months. When the Doors of the Argent Colliseum were thrown open we went in and cleared the first encounter on the first night, the future was bright. Sadly it was not to be and following the loss of many of our senior members the guild has been retired. Its name will live on but sadly the glorious deeds will be no more.
